Barbara Moses

Barbara Moses, Ph.D. is an internationally recognized authority on the social psychology of work. As president of BBM Human Resource Consultants Inc, her company worked with hundreds of for profit and not for profit organizations in Canada and the United States. She is the author/publisher of the acclaimed career/life management tool Career Advisor which has helped over 200,000 people manage contemporary career/life challenges.

She wrote a popular column for The Globe and Mail and The Wall Street Journal for several years. She has served on several boards, most recently Up With Women, which helps women at risk of homelessness achieve career stability, and Nightwood Theatre, a Toronto-based feminist theatre company.

She is the author of four best selling books which have been published internationally including Career Intelligence: Mastering the New Work and Personal Realities and Dish: Midlife Women Tell the Truth about Work, Relationships, and the Rest of Life. In addition she has coached and edited a number of fiction and non-fiction authors.

She has been profiled by numerous media organizations and has appeared on many American and Canadian network TV shows including The Today Show, Good Morning America, CBC, and CTV.

Barbara Moses holds psychology degrees from University of Toronto (Ph.D.), The London School of Economics (M.Sc.), and McGill University (B.A.). She is passionate about promoting and lifting women's voices in the cultural sector.
