Julie Jacobson

Julie Jacobson has worked as an attorney, an interior designer and an independent bookseller. From 2009-2013, she joined her husband David Jacobson in Canada, where he served as the U.S. Ambassador. Most recently, she has worked as a Senior Fellow at the Environmental Law & Policy Center in Chicago. She has served on the boards of the Chicago Architecture Foundation, the Stratford Festival (Ontario), and Impact Grants Chicago. She is proud to be a founding board member of the Carol Shields Prize for Fiction. She is currently a volunteer docent for the Chicago Architecture Foundation and a political activist, working hard to protect and promote American democracy. She has two grown children.
